An environmental approach to molecular interactions: implementation within MOLPRO
نویسندگان
چکیده
We present the implementation into the MOLPRO package of a model for the interaction of a central system with its surrounding environment. The properties of a target system enclosed by a non−covalently bound environment or solvent are modelled as those of a system embedded into the effective pseudopotential arising from the exact electrostatic coulomb potential and the approximated exchange−repulsion potential. For the latter we use the charge−density overlap model which relates the exchange−repulsion interaction energy between two species with the overlap of their ground−state electron charge densities. The solutions of the modified Hartree−Fock equations for the target system are obtained self−consistently. This way the exchange−induction effects arising from the converged electron−charge density of the embedded system are implicitly covered. Further inclusion of the correlation effects is provided by the use of post−Hartree−Fock and density−functional techniques available in the MOLPRO package. The computational and conceptual advantages provided by such approach are shown in the calculation of the dipole polarisabilities of halide and chalcogenide compounds in different environments.

Analysis of interactions among the barriers to JIT production: interpretive structural modelling approach
‘Survival of the fittest’ is the reality in modern global competition. Organizations around the globe are adopting or willing to embrace just-in-time (JIT) production to reinforce the competitiveness. Even though JIT is the most powerful inventory management methodologies it is not free from barriers. Barriers derail the implementation of JIT production system. One of the most significant tasks...
متن کاملI-34: Interactorme of Human Embryo Implan Implantation:Pathways,Networks
Background: A prerequisite for successful embryo implantation is adequate preparation of receptive endometrium and the establishment and maintenance of a viable embryo. The success of implantation further relies upon a two-way dialogue between the embryo and uterus. However, molecular bases of these preimplantation and implantation processes in humans are not well known. Materials and Methods: ...

Mankind is always interacting with an environment that contains various meanings and layers with each of which the environment behaves differently, and on the other hand, this behavior is effectively reflected back to the environment. In recent decades, experimental environmental psychology has sought to help solve the issues posed to human societies by pursuing two objectives of theoretical un...
متن کاملThe role of microRNAs and phytohormones in plant immune system
The plant-pathogen interaction is a multifactor process that may lead to resistance or susceptible responses of plant to pathogens. During the arms race between plant and pathogens, various biochemical, molecular and physiological events are triggered in plant cells such as ROS signaling, hormone activation and gene expression reprogramming. In plants, microRNAs (miRNAs) are key post-transcript...
متن کاملAn Efficient Implementation of Phase Field Method with Explicit Time Integration
The phase field method integrates the Griffith theory and damage mechanics approach to predict crack initiation, propagation, and branching within one framework. No crack tracking topology is needed, and complex crack shapes can be captures without user intervention. In this paper, a detailed description of how the phase field method is implemented with explicit dynamics into LS-DYNA is provide...
